This part is just in case something happened that changed the look of your Patient Files App or Form errors. Some error happens when you are doing a transferring of databases from PC to iPhone or iPad and accidentally you included the database that contained an "hdf" which are Form files. Hdf (forms) are design that is specific for a particular device and should not be included when transferring databases. It will result to a disorganized look. If that happened, you can easily fix it by just downloading the reserved forms here to overwrite the error. This wont affect your patient records, only the design. Here we just included the 3 top forms: the rmAdmitLink, rmPatientFiles and rmVisitLink.
If for example your iPad rmVisitLink look weird after a transfer, you can do download the rmVisitLink below directly from you iPad. Follow the instructions below:
To correct a form error, click the form above that seem to have a problem and download it.
Go to Documents/Easy Clinic/MyPatients6 and paste it there to overwrite the same named form.
To correct a form error in iPad, open this website using the iPad itself and click the form above that seem to have a problem, it will ask you to Open with..., just choose Patient Files and choose to overwrite. Or another way is to download the file in your PC and install it to iPad via iFunbox.
To correct a form error in iPhone, open this website using the iPhone itself and click the form above that seem to have a problem, it will ask you to Open with..., just choose Patient Files and choose to overwrite. Or another way is to download the file in your PC and install it to iPhone via iFunbox.
Troubleshooting Form Errors:
Troubleshooting Database Errors:
Databe errors may happen if you did a wrong command that caused the software to delete the records. For example when you click the Visits circle button you did a double click when it should only one a one click, that is a wrong command. Or you did a "merging technique" but you made a mistake in merging 2 databases with different names. You can only merge same named databases, like rmPatientFiles can only be merged to rmPatientFiles and not to rmVisitLink or it will cause errors that would present unreadable words like E+=cwj or something like that. This is the primary reason that you are advised to do a Daily Backup so that you have a source where you can get your databases if you want to restore from an error. Watch the video on how to back up.
So if unfortunately an error happened, do the following to restore your records:
Go to your Backup Folder
Locate the latest date of Backup
Look for the file that has an error, example rmVisitLink (choose the one without HDF)
Go to Documents/Easy Clinic/MyPatients6 and paste it there, answer yes to overwrite.
For many years I documented my programming progress from the lite to the pro versions. And actually I myself am amazed that it has been a lot of PDFs already. This page shows all of them. Even if you have downloaded the Patient Files Pro version 6.0, the manuals of below of the older versions will still be helpful for you.
